What are employee recognition coins?
Employee recognition coins put your company’s marks in metal. The design holds your logo and colors, a value or a motto, a program or award name, a milestone or anniversary year, and a tier from the program you run. A set can share one design and switch the plating or the color for each tier. Color can cover one side or both, and the outline can follow a shape you want.
A manager passes employee recognition coins out at a team meeting, and a leader can do the same at an all-hands. Award night and a work anniversary are both good times for the handoff. The end of a project works too, and so does the close of a hard stretch. People keep the coin because someone they work with chose them for it, and the wording still says what they did.

Honor the
legend
A Legend at your company gives more than expected and owns successes and failures. That pledge belongs on the coin, next to the values you already use. The coin goes out when someone meets that standard. On a later day, the same lines you wrote for the role are still there to read.
Award the
top tier
Save the highest level of your program for a formal night, or set the coin on a desk the day someone earns it. The name of that tier sits on the face, so coworkers can see where the person you chose stands. The top coin can take its own finish, which sets it apart from the lower tiers.
Thank the
whole crew
One coin for every person on the crew can name what your people faced and that they made it through together. Put the year on it and mark that time. Matching copies mean each person holds that story. Give them out once the group is back at work, so the credit lands on everybody at once.

We've got answers
When you order recognition coins for staff, a few practical questions usually come up.
We offer gold, silver and copper platings standard with our orders. We also offer upgraded antique finishes that give an aged look to your coins. Antique finishes help greatly when your design is mostly metal (die struck) as the darker recessed areas provide a greater contrast for text and fine lines. We also offer some specialty colored metals that have a similar appearance to powder-coating (no charge), black nickel (a shiny gunmetal appearance), and now an iridescent rainbow plating (price on request).
The minimum order is 50 coins, but we always recommend ordering 100 due to the quantity discount at this quantity. Typically ordering 100 coins is only ~20% more expensive than ordering 50.
Our coins are made from brass metal if they are round. If the coins are a special shape or feature a high-relief 3D design, the material is a zinc alloy. We can also make coins out of copper, iron, and aluminum depending on your needs.
We keep your coin’s mold for a period of 3 years. If you reorder in that 3 year period, the 3 year storage period starts over!
We have multiple options for production location depending on your design choice and budget. We have manufacturing here in Florida and also overseas. Please consult with one of our sale professionals about what will work best for your challenge coin order.
You do not pay for a mold fee again on a reorder as long as the previous mold is still on file (kept for 3 years from the latest order date).
